Hi I'm Jordan Foster

Born and raised in GA, now in UT majoring in Exercise Science. I received my mission call to Finland Helsinki. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children. I am majoring in Exercise Science. I want to be a Physician's Assistant. I just received my mission call to the Finland Helsinki mission and will be leaving March 2013. I am an early riser who loves peanut butter.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Jesus Christ came down to Earth and died for our sins. He did it for each and every one of us. He would have done it even if it was just one person. This great act, the atonement, has changed all of mankind. The atonement allows us to repent and to have eternal life. Eternal life is granted to those who obey the commandments and endure to the end. Eternal life is what I am striving for! I am Mormon because I know of the atonement and God's great love for me. I know I am a child of god and he cares about me and my mundane life. I am mormon because this gospel is the only complete church on the face of the earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through example. "Look at others through Christ's eyes" is a saying I often repeat to myself. I read my scriptures and pray daily. The little things add up to become the big things. By continually doing the little things, I am able to feel of God's love for me and continue to grow my testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Jordan Foster
Our bodies are our temporary homes for our spirits while on earth. They are a gift given to us from God and should be treated as such. We should strive to keep our bodies as clean and pure as possible. By keeping our body healthy and free of piercings or tattoos, we are honoring our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Jordan Foster
I believe that we are here on earth for purpose. In Alma 34:32, Amulek tells us, "this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God." This life is an opportunity for us to learn and to grow. We can learn more of Heavenly Father's gospel while we are on Earth. Through choosing the right and doing good works in the life, we can live with our Heavenly Father forever in heaven. Our purpose is to learn for ourselves God's plan and accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ into our lives. Show more Show less
