Hi I'm Anayetzy

I am a missionary, I will be serving in Georgia. I love to sing and I graduated from the IB program. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am nineteen years old and I have been called to serve on a Spanish speaking mission in Georgia. Which I am super excited about! I love reading and writing. When I return I plan on attending a medical institute to become a veterinarian assistant, my ultimate goal to become a veterinarian. Though it would be fun to audition for Julliard for singing. I swam on my high school swim team and am a seminary and high school graduate. I have asthma. My parents are divorced. I love baking, but not cooking. I actually worked in a bakery! I love animals which is why I want to be a vet. Though I am not very fond of of what I call wild water (lakes, rivers, oceans, creeks, etc.) in fact I am quite afraid of it. I am also very afraid of flying insects, especially bees. I love hiking, camping and spending time with my family. I speak French, Spanish and English. I can read Italian, and Portuguese, and plan on speaking them soon. I like acting, though I am not really good at it. I know way too much random trivia and I love serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all my life, I was baptized when I was eight, but just like any teen I was faced with my doubts and questions. I lived the Gospel and had a testimony but it wasn't my own it was my parents'. To find my way I had to pray for a long time, and study and attend church, and eventually my answer came. I immediately immersed myself into the Gospel, living worthily though still making mistakes, after all no one is perfect. Then my Grandpa died and that broke me, I had been very close to him, and I had to pray and study again to ease my grief and to know that because we are sealed as a family I would be able to see him again when I died. Shortly after my parents got divorced, I felt so lost and sad, it was a hard divorce especially since I was just entering my freshman year in high school, and had my own problems. It took me a long time and a lot of prayer to heal from that and to forgive my parents. I continue to live the Gospel, because I know that my Savior and my Heavenly Father knows me, me specifically, they know my pains and sorrows. I know that through the Savior anything is possible, and He can heal our spiritual wounds and he uses Preisthood Blessings to heal our physical ailments. He has helped me through my many trials through my faith and perseverance, and I know he will continue to do so. I love this Gospel, an I will continue to live it because it is the one true church, and I know that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting an example. I am going on a mission, instead of going straight to college because I knew it was the right thing to do for me. In the program that I was in, in high school everyone went to college or university after graduating. Because of this whenever any on my classmates asked me what I was doing after graduation I was presented with a chance to share the gospel. Just like many others I try my best to shine as a disciple of Christ, I pray daily for strength to overcome my trials and I study the Book of Mormon and The Bible, and I have seen the changes. These things make it easier to live the gospel, and harder to be swayed to make bad choices.
