Hi I'm Crystal Castaneda

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a full time student. I love to travel and work.. I have grown up LDS. I'm currently preparing to serve a full time mission in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was raised in the church and had the amazing blessing of knowing how great this gospel is. It wasn't until after I graduated high school, where I had to start to do things on my own without constant encouragement from my parents and teachers, that I started to question my faith. That first year on my own was the hardest year of my life. However, I'm so thankful for that struggle because that year I actually prayed to strengthen my testimony and prayed for the strength to be closer to my father in heaven and my savior. It was because of that year, that I know now and always will, that this is the true church of God and that there is a prophet on this earth today to lead and guide us, and that if we live righteously we can once again return and live with Heavenly Father and our eternal families in heaven again.

How I live my faith

Knowing that if I follow the commandments of God, gives me an opportunity to return back to him, motivates me everyday to be the best I can. Living by example, is a best way to leave a positive mark on this world and to show my father in heaven how much I love him. I am happiest when I am living what I know is true.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Prayer is the best way to know for yourself if the Gospel is true! God will not let you down in this matter. Pray often, live righteously by his word, study The Book of Mormon, and really ask Heavenly Father for an answer. It will come. Show more Show less
