Hi I'm Cole Freeman

I am a life-long learner, a shower singer and a movie lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my life and I love getting to know new people. I come from a family of three boys originally but we, my mom, brothers and I, met my step-dad about three years ago and so now we have a family of four boys and two girls. I love spending time with them and sharing good laughs and memories with them. I am a Thunderbird at Southern Utah University where I am studying Biology. I served in the California Arcadia Mission and I loved it! I love to play and coach football because it has always been a passion of mine since I started. I love to watch movies and eat popcorn. I love to run and listen to good music. Yard work is something that I love to do because it usually makes me feel like I have made something more beautiful with my own hands. My mom always taught us to be a gentleman and I do my best to make sure that I do my best to be one. I love rodeos and country music.Singing has always been something that I have loved to do even though I don't think that I am all that good. I write in cursive and love to do so. I know that live is meant to be enjoyed and I do enjoy it everyday that I live, even through the hard times.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I remember back on my life when I didn't always say that. I remember being pretty lost at times in my life and wondering if there really could be a church on the earth that really could be as perfect as the one that Jesus Christ himself set up when He was on the earth. I really struggled with accepting that this church was the same church as He set up and it really took me a while to get an answer to my prayers. But I know for a fact that our Heavenly Father does answer prayers. I remember not getting a huge revelation with bells and whistles going off but I know what I felt. An indescribable feeling of peace and warmth came over me and I knew that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ in this day and age. I know that with every fiber of my being and I know that I will always be in this church as long as I live because I can not deny what I felt. This is where I am meant to be.

How I live my faith

I also live my faith by standing up for what I believe in. I know that many will not agree with what I have to say or what I believe in but I know what I know and at this chruch is the true Chruch of Jesus Christ once again restored upon the earth in its fullness, just as it was when Jesus Christ was on the earth. I live my faith by being true to what I believe in. I know that by doing so I will be blessed and those in my family will be blessed as well. I know what is expected of me in life and I try every day to live up to the potential that I have given to me from Heavenly Father.

What is faith?

Cole Freeman
Faith is believing that good will come no matter what may happen to us in this life. We have faith in the sun coming up every day without fail. True, we can't see it until it happens but we know that it will because we believe whole-heartedly in it. Faith is knowing, without having to see, that something is true as sure as you know that you are living and breathing. Faith is one thing that we have that no one can take from us no matter how hard they try. The only time that we lose our faith is when we allow it to be lost. Faith is the biggest reason why I am here today. I know that without faith in something more than myself, I would not have been able to make it through the challenges I have seen, challenges that I am currently seeing and challenges that I will see in the future. I know that Christ lives. I know that because I have faith in Him and all that He has done for me. I know that I will probably not see Christ personally until the next life but I know that He will be waiting there for me and will welcome me home with open arms. Show more Show less

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Cole Freeman
You can find someone to talk with about the Mormon religion in a variety of places. Chances are that you have Mormons living around you somewhere and they are more than happy to tell you all that you would like to know about their religion. However, if you do not know anyone who is a Mormon, there are many other options. You have probably seen them out and about, either knocking on doors or riding bikes, but the Mormon missionaries are a great source to finding out what Mormons are all about. For 18 months to two years, young men and women leave their homes and family to go out into the world to teach, serve and bless other peoples' lives. They are representatives of the Mormon church and they can teach you and your family everything that you would like to know. You can also talk with representatives of the Mormon church online or over the phone. The number and addresses are provided on this website. There are representatives always ready to answer your questions and address your concerns. Another way to find out more about the Mormons and what they believe is to find a church through this website and attend a service. All are welcome to attend and the hours of the services are listed. What do Mormons believe about family?

Cole Freeman
Mormons believe that family is the place where we learn who we are. It is where we learn about life and what is expected of us as individuals. Family is the basic unit of society. Some of the greatest happinesses, such as the birth of a child, and sorrows, such as the death of a family member, in life are experienced within family. Mormons believe that families can be together forever. When a husband and wife are married they are "sealed" together or they are bound to each other for time and ALL eternity. Families are meant to be together forever rather than parting ways after death takes its place. Through the power of the priesthood and through the temples we have on the earth today, families can be together forever. Show more Show less
