Hi I'm Nate

"I love to ski, breakdance, beat box, sing, and play ultimate frisbee. And I'm a Mormon."

About Me

Almost two years ago I returned from a two year church service mission in Nicaragua. I am currently studying communications at a local university. I work for EFY (a church university youth camp) during the summers. I am huge people person and love to be outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that was very active in this church and I always believed that it was true. Everything that was taught seemed to make a lot of sense, but I didn't come to know that it is our loving Heavenly Father's true church until my teenage years. That is when I first felt the Saviors love for me so strong that is brought me to tears. I know that He loves me. I know that he suffered and died for me. And I know that because he did I can repent of my imperfections and become a better person. I know that this is his church, and that being a part of it and living the right way brings blessing and miracles into lives!

How I live my faith

In my later teen years I did an Eagle scout project. We did a coat drive for the homeless shelter. Because of that project we were able to make 438 people warmer that Christmas. During my junior and senior year of high school I was involved in Link crew which was a group that helped the incoming freshman feel more comfortable each year. Every summer I work as a councilor for a bunch of youth at a LDS church camp. I absolutely loved being with them and teaching them. Recently I have decided to serve in volunteer positions at the Temple and missionary training center. I am so grateful for all these opportunities I have to serve. They definitely brighten my life!
