Hi I'm Yuli Olvera Austin

I enjoy knowing what God has prepared for me and my family because he loves us.

About Me

I love studying languages and different cultures, I enjoy learning from the past through classic history, anthropology and genealogy. I consider nature God's selected gift and enjoy contemplating sunrises. I have a special affection for pets specially cats, I love to make others laugh by making funny faces. I love spirituality and practice yoga as often as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Lds) since I was born. Never the less the confirmation of my belief came because I asked the Lord to help me know if everything I had been learning was true. I felt peace and while reading a section in the Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi, I came to know that Christ had really come to the Americas to show His other flock the same path He had shown in Jerusalem. I knew that the Prophet Joseph Smith had really asked God to point in the right direction so he could follow His true chuch. I know that God the Father and the Son, really did manifest themselves unto him and that the fullness of his gospel is now on earth, available to everyone who seeks it with a sincere desire o know the truth and to have the courage to act with that faith. I know our Heavely Father loves us and has provided us with a beautiful Savior, who died for us and who gave us a chance through repentence to go back home. I know some day I will see him again, and I know that because families can be for ever, I won't go back alone. I love him, I serve him and I know this things to be true.

How I live my faith

I am a Teacher for single adults, we learn together from the Bible and The Book of Mormon. We have opened a link on face book to stay in touch about our assigments and feedback or social events. I give them all an activity to prepare for the class: read, comment or apply a scripture in their lives. What I enjoy most from them is knowing they go through similar experiences and trials as I, some of them work, others study, some of them live at home while others live far away, never the less, our faith brings us together and at the end of each week, we find our trust in the Lord renewed and our hope to become more like Christ a common goal between us. I I'm so grateful for the Spirit guiding our lessons, comments and questions. A student's sister recently mentioned how happy she is to see her brother reading, seachig and increasing his faith by praying sincerelly to our Heavenly Father. We have a saying that when we want to speak to God we pray, and when we need Him to speak to us we search the scriptures. I have come to develop the best connection with God that I have ever had.
