Hi I'm Jordan Saunders

I grew up in a small town called Sugar City, Idaho. I recently returned from serving a LDS mission in Columbia, South Carolina.

About Me

i returned from a mission not too long ago from South Carolina and am now attending BYU-I. i love playing sports and talking with people. I also love to draw and paint in my spare time. I grew up in Sugar City Idaho and am now living in South Carolina. I love the south and its rich culture, there is nothing like it in the world! I come from a family of 7 children, 3 girls and 4 boys, i being the oldest. My mom is one of my best friends in the world and I am so grateful for everything that she has done to help be become who I am today, she is the greatest mom ever! My name is Jordan Saunders, and i'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if it was true, the answer i got was so genuine and so unmistakeable that i knew that this was the true church. I have seen how the gospel has blessed my family, my parents, brothers, and sisters are some of my closest friends and i can always count on them to be there for me. I know that this is the true church. I know that my father in Heaven knows me personaly and he did answer my prayer and still answers my prayers every day. Recently i had a very near death experience in which i was able to see the hand of the lord bless me and those around me. I know the the atonement of Jesus Christ can heal us spiritually and physically. JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD, He did atone for our sins, and because he was resurrected on the third day, we too will one day be resurrected. I love this gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ, this is His church, and every one can know this for themselves if they will read the Book of Mormon and pray about it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving up two years to serve a full-time mission. During these two years we go out and share the gospel with others, and we try to help as many people as possible come closer to the savior Jesus Christ through repentance and baptism. Missionaries give up watching TV and listening to the radio for these two years. I also try to be an example everywhere i go because you never know who is watching you, and anything I do can effect how others make decisions. So I try to follow the example of the savior in every aspect of my life. I feel that when we serve others, that is when we are truly the happiest.
