Hi I'm DaNell

I grew up in Washington state. I am a switch technician for a telephone company, and a Mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music and singing. I am currently the Primary Chorister and LOVE working with the kids. I also love the arts and being crafty (when I have time). I have a full time job on top of being a mother of two gorgeous girls. I studied Information Technology in college. I also love learning about different cultures and find people intriguing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon; however, became inactive after high school. I was inactive about 5 years before I met my husband (who was Catholic at the time). The first couple years of marriage was filled with tears, anger, sorrow, and a lot of pain. Finally the missionaries knocked at our door, and the spirit entered our house. I wasn't converted to the church until my husband joined the church in 2008. At that time, our lives completely turned around. We are now happier than ever, and every day we strengthen each other. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have witnessed firsthand that the teaching of the church are important and strengthen my family. I know that because I strive every day to be a worthy member, my life is filled with blessings and there is joy in my household.

How I live my faith

I teach music to the children up to age 12. I love working with the kids and hearing their testimony grow by the beautiful music they sing. It is so inspiring to see a child sing their heart out to their favorite song about Jesus. I also visit two women in my ward and enjoy getting to know the different women. It is so comforting to know that your sisters are there whenever you need them, even if it is just a chat for a while.
