Hi I'm Cody

I grew up in Spokane, I love Soccer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

7 reds heads in one family can seem kind of overwhelming at times, but that is what I grew up with. My family is a great support to me and I love them all. They have really made me into the person that I am today. My dad probably didn't know what he was starting when he put me on a soccer team when I was 5. I have been playing even since, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. It took over my life clear though high school, and I hope to get back on a team when I get home from my mission. I also spent countless hours in the water. My mom is the one to blame for that. She put me on a swim team from about the time that I started soccer. Even thought I didn't like it as much as soccer, I ended up becoming a life guard through my high school years. My three sisters probably morphed me some to, but it was always for the good. They help me look at life form a more sensitive view you could say. I am really glad that I had my little brother, so we could have our man time. I am just glad that I have my family for all the ways they have helped me become the person that I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the blessing of growing up in a family that live that is very active in the church. However, that isn’t why I am on a mission or why I choose to live the gospel. The reason that I am a Mormon is I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and who ever reads it can come to that same knowledge. When you come to that knowledge and choose to act upon it the blessings are amazing. This gospel changes lives. It’s awesome to see how it can help everyone and anyone. We just have to choose for ourselves to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 I hope that those around me can see my faith. I know that I am far from perfect, but I try to do the right things. As I study the scriptures each morning I try to take what I read to heart and apply it to my life. Right now I life my faith by serving my Heaving Father in the California Roseville mission. I have the great chance to share the gospel of Jesus Christ every day to the people of Northern California. I wouldn't want to be doing anything different right now. I love this gospel and the blessings that come from living it every day. I hope that everyone can see my faith.
