Hi I'm Shaun

I have 2 loving parents. I have 2 sisters and my lovely dog. I love to run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

am your typical 20 year old boy, I like to socialize, love to laugh and to be in company of new people. I've grown up in a little town called Dumfries in Scotland , with my Mum,and nana and papa two younger sisters. I was brought up in the church by my Mum,nana and papa presthood President and i are very supportive, I was baptized at the age of 11 and will never forget that day. I've grown up in a big family full of cousins which has taken me down the route of being a doctor. I am going study in england after my service of two years. I worked at a parkdeen witch is a holiday village which I love doing, this is also helping me save for serving a mission one day. I, like everybody else, have my struggles and trials; I feel the love of my Saviour which helps me and guides me along the way.

Why I am a Mormon

was born in the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints but at one point of my life in my teenage years i really had to find out if this church was for me. thinking like a normal person the question about the Book of Mormon, and Joseph Smith came to my mind. In this point of my life i knew that no one could really show me facts to know if this was true, it was then that i understood the purpose of my life and how faith works. our heavenly father will reveal the truth to us according to our faith. as a teenager faith seemed something that only smart people could have but i know that my father in heaven loves me and that fact alone was enough for me to exercise my faith. prayer is the way that we can ask questions, but with out the desire to know, prayer and reading the scriptures becomes just something good to do. If we have a true desire to know prayer and scriptures will become the most important thing in our lives. as i prayer and read i did get an answer to my prayers and found out for my self if this church was the church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The most important factor in my life is our savior Jesus Christ. I try to make daily decisions based around what would make Him and our Heavenly Father proud. An easy way to do that is fallow the guide lines of His church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I will be sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with people of england as I serve a full time mission, 24 months. This is a great privilege I'm great full to be a part of. As a missionary I will devote most of my time to others as our savior did. What an opportunity! i have

What do Mormons believe about family?

Shaun
Family members who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in God’s holy temples. Jesus gave to Peter the power to have things sealed on earth and sealed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). This same sealing power was restored to Joseph Smith. Mormon’s believe that they can be “sealed” or bound together through His power enabling them to live together in eternity. Show more Show less
