Hi I'm Leah

I'm from Utah. I'm a runner. I love the outdoors and I'm a mormon

About Me

I love spending time with family and friends. I love camping, hiking, running and sports. I am serving in the Guatemala Guatemala City North Mission. I plan to finish college when I return where I am majoring in exercise and wellness.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I have received my own confirmation that this gospel is true. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior who died for all of us and wants us to be happy. Joseph Smith was a true prophet. He saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He was God's instrument in restoring The church again on the earth. I have been raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and am so grateful for that. Being a member of this church makes me happy. I don't think I would be where I am today without the gospel. The key to knowing the truth is to pray to Heavenly Father and ask.

How I live my faith

I live by faith by trying to be a good example to those around me. If I'm trying to show other people the importance of doing something I always try to first impliment it in my own life. It's the simple things like studying the scriptures and following the prophet that can help strengthen our faith.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We need a Savior because none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. Jesus atoned for our sins so that we can repent and be forgiven. This is necessary so that we can be worthy to return to live with our Heavenly Father. Once you have truly repented you can feel the peace that it brings. In my own life when I make mistakes, I can feel them weighing me down until I truly repent and take advantage of the Savior's atonement and let it heal me. Show more Show less
