Hi I'm Luisa

I'm a senior in college. I love to travel and eat ice cream. I love sunshine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in central Florida, the youngest of four children. I am currently in my last year of college studying Marketing Management and loving every second of it. I am the proud aunt of a beautiful niece. I love traveling and have a long list of countries I would like to visit someday. I love to eat but I am somewhat of a picky eater. Macaroni and cheese will forever be my favorite food. I am both musically and athletically challenged but I love to sing whenever and wherever possible. I can live without sports. I would do anything for my family and friends. I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as adults and I was born into the Church. My parents and siblings are the only other members of the Church in my entire extended family. Although I grew up attending church every Sunday, I had to decide for myself if I had a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It wasn't until I was in high school that I started to decide for myself how I felt about the gospel. I read the scriptures, attended my Church meetings, listened to General Conference, and prayed to know if it was true. I did not have one specific "Aha!" moment in which I realized that it was true, but over the course of my life, I have continuously seen the hand of the Lord guiding me to make the right choices and supporting me in my times of need. I now know, without a doubt, that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children and will help all of us as we strive to keep His commandments in this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by studying the teachings of ancient and modern day prophets and apostles. As I strive to become more like the Savior, I consistently seek out opportunities to serve others and share the gospel through the way I live.
