Hi I'm Jessica Connor

I grew up in North Carolina. I love adventures and making new friends. I'm a Momon.

About Me

I'm currently serving in the California, Irvine Mission. Before my mission I was studying Biology at Brigham Young University and fixing computers at the Provo Missionary Training Center. I love challenges and new adventures. One of my favorite life mottos is "Live as if you'll die today and dream as if you'll live forever." I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and was one of only a few Mormon's at my High School. I believe that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ everyone can be happy and I wish that everyone could know that. I am the second of five kids and I love wake-boarding and running.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to be like him. I was blessed to be raised in a family that belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents were wonderful examples to me growing up in how living a gospel centered life brings happiness. As I got older I read the Book of Mormon and developed a testimony of my own. I know that my Savior lives and that he knows each of us individually. I am grateful to belong to his restored church on the earth today. I know that I Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that he really did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in 1820. Being a member of the Church gives me a sense of peace and happiness in my life that I want to share with all those around me.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith by serving as a full-time missionary for the Church. I love being a missionary because I get the opportunity to watch people’s lives change through the beautiful Atonement of Jesus Christ. As a missionary I feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people and to have seen the blessings that have come into their lives as they have learned about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love serving others and making people happy.
