Hi I'm Yesica

I am from mexico. I love to play soccer and my saxophone. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lived most of my life here in the US. I am a Junior in High School and love to play and make music. I live with my dad and 4 siblings. I am very quiet and shy. I spent most of my time at home and school.

Why I am a Mormon

I decided to become Mormon when i was about 16 years old. I had a friend who was Mormon and i really didn't know until she invited me to go to church with her. I was scared and worried about going but the following sunday i went with her. Just going thru the front door i could feel something inside of me that i had never felt before. As i listened to what they were saying i felt happy and peaceful. I loved it and wanted to learn more. I started to read the Book of Mormon and prayed every night. One night as i was praying i felt this warm feeling in my heart. It was so strong that i can't really describe the feeling. Later that night some missionaries came by my house as i was checking the mail and i invited them to come inside. I've had a pretty hard life and i didn't want to live that way anymore. I wanted to change and be happy. The day i got baptist i felt so good and this weight that was lifted from my shoulder. I will never forget that feeling. Being Mormon has change my life a lot. The gospel has helped me with who i am and had blessed me so much. I know that this is the true church and that if we pray with a sincere heart god will talk to us in many ways and he will bless us if we follow his teachings and commandments.

How I live my faith

Well, i joined the church not to long ago, and i really love it. I've been teaching with the missionaries on my spare time. I love meeting new people that are interested about the church and want to find out more about our religion. I am the only member of the church in my family and i always try to share about the gospel to them when they aren't doing anything.
