Hi I'm Alexander Bluhm

Hi I'm Alex i grew up in Kansas. I just graduated from high school. I am planning to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello my name is Alex. I am a young man. I like to draw, sing, make techno music, listen to techno music, Building and fixing stereos and building fixing computers. I have a lot of interest in electricity and things of that nature. I also like the outdoors. When I was younger my Mom made me go out gardening with her, at first I was not too fond of gardening, but I have really grown to love plants and things like that. I hope to attend college soon, where I plan to major in electrical engineering, and maybe build a few amplifiers of my own design along the way. I love my family both of my brothers are awesome, and three sisters are amazing too. I love my Mom and Dad very much, teaching good old Midwestern values while crushing all obstacles that stand in their path.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the Mormon church has really helped me to know what really is important in life, because you know when your a teenager its really easy to lose focus on the things that really matter. First and foremost I love my family and I love my Heavenly Father for sending me to them. I try to keep focus on loving the Lord and treating your neighbor as you would be treated. I am trying to be more like Jesus everyday, but I'm still not perfect, but hopefully through God's Grace I can be a little better. The entirety of why I have stayed in this church is because of how I feel and the blessings the lord has given me and the enlightenment the truth can bring to your mind.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church, I have attended many youth activities and have made lots of friends in the church. I have had a lot of friends outside the church as well. I would hang out with the Audiophiles at school and we would talk about stereos and music. The funny thing I have observed is that a lot of people who are in choir and band are really into building and fixing stereos (we called ourselves the audiophiles). I value what I have learned in the church, especially when I consider how different things could have been if I was not a member of this church. Singing at church was ultimately what led me to singing and music. With some encouragement from my mom I enrolled in my school choir and acquired a real love for music. I try to be nice to everyone I meet and not judge people by their outward appearance, after all kindness is the only way you can win lasting friendship. I like to meet other people, for example I would scout around my town on the classifieds for old stereos I could collect and fix up, and I have met a couple of interesting fellows who have got old stereo parts and 8-Track tapes stacked to the ceiling.
