Hi I'm Larrie Thomas

I have been married 50 years to my wife Sherry and have 11 sons, 1 daughter 55 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

About Me

I'm 71 years old. I'm a welder by profession and have owned my own business since 1978. I've welded a lot of water pipe for the Las Vegas Valley Water District. I've seen all of Las Vegas underground. I like to hunt, fish and just about anything in the great outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all my life. My Grandmother Thomas joined the church in the early 1900's in Kentucky. She was introduced to the church by her cousins the Rhoton brother that happened to be serving as full time missionaries at the time.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve in the church. I served as a full time missionary in Texas when I was 19. I have served in many areas in the church from Scoutmaster to Bishop. I currently serve with the full time missionaries and members as a leader in the missionary program. I also serve in the Las Vegas Temple once a week.
