Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up in California. I'm apart of a family on ten. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've lived the California life 17 out of my 19 years of life. I went to college for a year and majored in the field of Health Science. I set my education aside to serve a 2 year mission for my church in Portugal. I have never made a bigger decision in my life but its something I couldn't be more happy about. I come from a big family of ten where there is never a boring moment when your home. We are all two years apart and having your own clothes/room/anything is impossible. I love it though. There are 6 boys and two little twin girls. We are all sports fanatics and can never finish anything let alone a board game without it getting too competitive.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to become a Mormon due to one simple fact, its truth. I have had the opportunity to kneel down and offer a prayer unto the Lord asking in earnest prayer if the things which I have read in the scriptures and the Book of Mormon are true. I know that he hears and answers everyone's prayers and I know that this Gospel allows for all our prayers to be answered such as "why we are hear", "where we are from", and "where we are going". I know with a surety that this Gospel is centered around Jesus Christ and that we are his brothers and sisters. We also have a loving Heavenly Father who desires our success. Put the power of prayer to the test and ask about this Gospel, the truth will be revealed.

How I live my faith

I chose to be of service to my church when I sent in a request to my church asking to serve a two year mission in Portugal, Lisbon. Before this amazing decision in my life I was apart of a youth and service group that did service for the members of our community. I have family apart of the school system and I get to spend lots of time in a scouting program. I am also proud to announce that I reached the rank of Eagle scout and have used the people I have met and the skills I have received to further my knowledge in my educational career.
