Hi I'm sandra jane kays

I'm a family historian, I'm a mother, a grandmother, and a great grand mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a member of the Church of jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I am a convert to the church since March of 1962. My husband was already a member of the church. I received the missionaries and I was baptized & confirmed on 31 March of 1962 by Elder Ross Albert Richins of Provo, Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I work as one of the librarians of the Hunter 10th ward of the Hunter East Stake. I have been an off & on member of the church at times, but since coming to this ward I have really learned t o be a much better. I have never been in such a sweet- spirited ward as this one is. I have never been in a ward with so many returned missionaries. It is quite remarkable for me to be around such wonderful people. My neighbor got me started going to the Family History library during this summer and t he fact that we were able to find so many of my ancestors was just mind-baffling to me.I absolutely loved every minute of the time we spent there. It was wonderful.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

I believe that Joseph Smith did see the Father and the Son in that spring morning of 1820, i liked the way he compared himself to Paul, he knew that he had seen a vision and he dared not deny it. I loved to here the prophet Joseph Smith speak.I think this is a wonderful thing that happened for the rest of the world,i belonged to the Methodist and Baptists church before and I did not like the way they pictured Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ they I was taught that they were one and the same when it comes to they were one in body.
