Hi I'm Mariah Danielle Kennedy

I'm an environmental science major & I'm an Artist. I live everyday to make the world more beautiful & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona, USA. I started out in the city, but was always a country girl at heart and couldn't be happier to live on a ranch like I do now. 3 I love horses, an animals of all kinds. I'm currently studying to be a wildlife researcher, and plan to get my bachelor's at Northern Arizona University. I'm also a very big nerd. I love comic books, video games, anime, manga, and regular books. I design costumes for anime conventions and I've been to more than five since I turned 18 3 I'm one of the goofiest people you will ever meet! Making people laugh is how I give back to the lord. 3 I'm currently preparing for a mission in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada...did I mention i hate the cold and snow?! I haven't lived a long life, but nothing has brought more pace and comfort to me than this gospel. I love our older brother Jesus Christ 3

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young, my life wasn't very easy. My parents were divorced, and my father was abusive. My mom was a hard working woman in a loveless marriage with someone who didn't understand our faith. She was gone a lot, and I had to learn to take care of myself, and help out my older siblings. My mom has technically been a member since she was 27 years old in 1981, but went inactive because of the hardship of being a single mother; she lost her faith. I was 8 years old when my Mom invited the missionaries back into our home. I was nine years old when I was baptized. I may have been young, But I still knew the difference between having the gospel, and not having it. My childhood felt like I had lived lifetimes long enough for ten people. But with the peace and stability the gospel brought into my life, I found out who I really was, and where I belong. I'll probably never have all the answers, but I'm becoming happier every day that I have the privilege of being apart of a church, who's really just a really big family . 3 .

How I live my faith

I'm currently a Sunday School teacher for the class of 4 and five year old children in my ward. I love kids, and its the best job in the whole world. I get to play games and be silly while still helping the younger generation become closer to Christ!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Mariah Danielle Kennedy
Truth, to some people, comes in the form of a text book, or a television news report, or something happening right in front of them. Truth, in and of itself is merely a concept, event, or law that cannot be denied. Some truths that we do know: -The run rises every morning -The ocean's waves always roll -Our hearts will beat until we die -The sun is the center of our Solar System The truth is found in all of these great wonders. How these truths became truths all comes from one simple fact, creation happened. There is a God, and he created these things with his own hands. He has a son, Jesus Christ, who was a living breathing man that walked this earth. Prayer, is how we speak to our Father in heaven. The undeniable truth, lies in your heart. The feeling of peace that always accompanies the question ," Is this the true gospel of Jesus Christ?" . That feeling is undeniable, and therefore, it is truth. Show more Show less
