Hi I'm Jon

I love music, medicine and my friends. I want to change the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love music. I play the piano, guitar, and any and all percussion instruments. I have recently retired from a six year singing career to participate in the local marching band. I also love medicine. I hope one day to complete medical school and travel to third world countries to help strengthen impoverished communities. My favorite things to do outside is hiking, camping and ultimate frisbee. I'm currently in high school, but will be graduating in June. Soon after I will be serving a honorable two year mission. I'm an Eagle Scout and a member of the National Honor Society.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know for a fact that this church is true! I have tried to live a life without it and the only thing I received is complete misery. I know that the Book of Mormon and all of its teachings are true and should be followed. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet of our Heavenly Father. He is the mouth for God to help guide and direct us. Joseph Smith was and still is a prophet of God who brought to us the true restored gospel of God. I know that Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten, died for our sins and only through Him can we be saved. I know that the Holy Priesthood is on the Earth again so that man can perform blessings and miracles in Gods' holy name for His purpose. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church that teaches the full and complete gospel and that this same church is the only one that offers the correct keys and sealing powers so that families can be together forever. I know that true happiness can only be reached by being a faithful Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm a teachers aid for a religious class that's meant for kids who are 14-15 years old. I'm a leader of my youth group and I teach five different families. I also seem to be the main source for information of my church when it come to my non-member friends.
