Hi I'm Eric Knutson

I am a student at BYU. I am 1 of 10 kids. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love singing. I am a student at BYU, recently returned from an LDS mission in Busan, South Korea. I love playing Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and Football. I was in a tumbling class, and I loved it. I was farely lonely, and non social as a small child, and my red hair didn't help at all. When my family moved to Utah, all of the LDS kids that went to school with me were very kind to me. Since then, I have developed great friendships, and I love talking with people in all areas of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of how the LDS teachings have effected me. I wouldn't be half as good of the man I am now if I were not a Mormon. I also love singing. I enjoy pop, and R&B. I love beat boxing, and harmonizing popular songs that play on the radio with my brothers. But when I sing the hymns, and music in the church, I feel as though I am taking a step into heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying and studying the scriptures daily. I am always looking for how to become more like Jesus, and always looking for ways to show him how grateful I am for the greatest gift.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Eric Knutson
I was in a man's home once, and had finished playing my favorite hymn, "Joseph Smith's first prayer" on the piano, when the man came up to me, and told me, "I wish you believed in God instead of that Joseph Smith." In that moment I wanted to exclaim the truth with my whole soul. I worship God! I worship Jesus Christ! There is just no way that I could properly worship either of them without Joseph Smith. We love and honor Joseph Smith, but do not worship him in any way. We as a church, and I personally worship God, and Jesus only. Show more Show less
