Hi I'm Jaron

I grew up in Houston, Texas. I am currently a student in college and am preparing to leave on my mission in January.

About Me

I am a college student studying Physiology and Developmental Biology. Daily I study how life works at the genetic level. I love my studies in the subject but I also love many other things. I love music with a passion and I spend much of my free time with it. I have been in many music competitions, performing with some of the best young musicians in the United States. I enjoy writing music and studying how it is made. I currently am in an A Capella group and I occasionally arrange for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the standards that the faith upholds. It is important to me to be able to be around be that have the same morals as me so that I can be comfortable. The Mormon church has been always been a place where I can feel at home with the people and with the religion. Also, I have found that this church has depth of love and a depth of religion that is different from any other church. I am a Mormon because I love to feel the Saviors love which I can feel so readily from this church.

How I live my faith

I plan events for my ward every Monday that help us to get to know each other and bond. I value friendship, especially as a college student so far from home. I love getting to know people and I will never tire of meeting new people. When I have the opportunity to be together with friends, a happiness fills me and I feel love for my friends which strengthens me to continue to press on in my life.
