Hi I'm Suzanne

I’m retired and enjoying being a wife, mother and grandmother. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I recently retired after working for 30 years in a hospital lab. I am now enjoying exercising, reading, gardening and traveling to visit my children and grandchildren. I also like to do family history and indexing of vital records.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church by friends in high school and was baptized when I was 18 years old. Throughout my life I have felt my love for the Savior grow and feel that my membership in His church is one of the most important things in my life. I rely on prayer and the influence of the Holy Ghost to guide me and am overwhelmed by the love I feel from and for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In the past I helped teach a Sunday School class to women in a minimum security prison. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had—meeting with, learning from, and loving the women. I have just finished serving an 18 month mission with my husband in Nauvoo, Illinois. While we were there, I gave tours of historic homes and sites including the Carthage Jail where Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum were martyred. I was able to talk with many people who came to see the sites and share with them my love for my Savior, Jesus Christ in many different ways.
