Hi I'm Jane

I am a student and a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student and am very busy with studying, work, and being involved as a student. I feel empowered, as a woman, by my faith. The blessings that I see everyday from the gospel help me realize that I have so much potential - not only as a spirit daughter of my Heavenly Father, but as someone who aspires to achieve success in school and work. I have plans to use my talents in a professional setting and to do the work that I love. But at the end of the day, I understand that what is truly important is living a life that can lead me back to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I look forward to starting a family and sharing with them my testimony of the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel makes sense. As someone who is very logical and analytical, I appreciate that the principles we are taught every Sunday simply make sense! They are so complete and I can learn something new and fascinating everyday from reading my scriptures. I understand that our standards not only protect us from suffering or harm, but they literally lift us up and bless us to be better than we could be on our own. I know my Heavenly Father, and I am so grateful to be able to draw close to him by reading the scriptures, going to the church and the temple, and simply spending time with my family. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us and are aware of us as individual people, striving to do the right thing.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday and feel blessed to help with the music in our meetings. I select hymns that help us understand principles of the gospel and play the piano while the congregation sings. Music is my favorite way to feel the spirit! I also attend classes about our religion near my school twice a week. We are currently studying the importance of dating and preparing for marriage in a way that is in accordance with the gospel, to bless ourselves and future families.
