Hi I'm Kaleb

I love soccer. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy playing soccer or football in other countries. I played all through high school as well as a club team during college. Soccer was my life all growing up. I played on club teams and enjoyed going to soccer tournaments and the competition that came along with soccer. Some other things that I also enjoy doing are watching American football. Any football game that is on I will watch it most likely. Although I did not play the game myself, I do love and enjoy it as if I had. So basically all through my life sports have just been a big deal. Besides sports I also enjoy the outdoors and camping. Growing up in a small town you learn to enjoy the mountains and a good fire on a summer night. As well growing up in Utah we all know they have the best snow on earth. I take advantage of that and enjoy riding my snowboard in the winters on the Utah ski slopes. The outdoors are a peaceful and enjoyable activity for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up a Mormon but that is not enough. My conversion story happened when i went to EFY. a program meant for the youth of the church to learn more about the gospel. It was all during the EFY Medley a very strong and powerful song that I felt that the Savior cared about me and loved me. The Holy Ghost testified to me that this is the true church. The power of church hymns and church music helped in my conversion and has blessed my life. I know that this church is true and all of its teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ in Sweden. I love serving and seeing the joy that comes into others lives as I am able to share the gospel with them. I look forward to the time that I have left to share this glad message.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Kaleb
The twelve apostles when Jesus Christ was on the earth had the proper authority to baptize because they were given it from Jesus Christ himself. But then Jesus Christ was Crucified and as well after a period of time the apostles were also killed meaning that authority to baptize was taken from the earth. It is important that it is the proper authority because it is commissioned of Jesus Christ himself meaning that he has given the person the authority to do it in his name because he can't be here to do it. If it is not the proper authority then they are not acting in Jesus Christ name therefore the baptism is not valid. We believe that the proper authority was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith and he was given the authority or priesthood directly from the prophets of old who appeared to him, and bestowed it upon him.
