Hi I'm Brett

A native of sunny Arizona, I love playing all sports, reading fantasy books, and singing in school choir. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

On my spare time I like to read books or if i can get some people together play some sports or games. Mostly i just love to run. I love to play with technological toys like computers and such. Learning how to use new things is a lot of fun. I'm also a geek for things like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. My siblings ages ranging from 21 to 10 are always teaching me new things and occasionally just being siblings. They are family all the same though.

Why I am a Mormon

I am born and currently being raised in a LDS family. They taught me at an early age to pray and read the scriptures. Though I had to earn my testimony my own way. Being a part of the church has been a lot of fun and I'm always meeting people that may have questions about the church. Being a part of the church has also taught me to be responsible and active in all my doings. No amount of pressure or money could ever convince me that the church has been a waste of my time and should leave. I love being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

In the ward I'm called to as a youth leader to help plan activities for our youth program. I'm also in charge of the young men and conducing meetings and planning camp outs for our scout group. If its in our pay then we do it. Ever Wednesday our youth group members and non members come to the church to do some activities. Some time the young men and women plan together an activity for the whole group. These are always a lot of fun.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

We choose not to drink coffee, alcohol, etc, so we can have a clear conscience and open mind on everything we do. Show more Show less
