Hi I'm Mitchell

I am an athlete, a musician, and a librarian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a full time college student and was also working part time as a librarian in my local library. I am Now striving to learn to teach the gospel by the spirit in the Missionary Training Center in Utah. I enjoy sports, music, video games, reading, and family time. I am a peacemaker and love to meet new people. I rarely argue with anybody. I am on my mission to serve in Portugal. I have two sisters and an amazing mother. my parents are divorced and my dad is decided to remarried. I love this gospel and can't wait to teach it to the Portuguese people.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel has given me a purpose in my life and has been the only steady and strong handhold i have had throughout my parents divorce. It makes me happier than anybody outside of the gospel can understand, and all i want to do is share it with the world. This, the only true church, has allowed me to experience feelings of love and compassion that i would never have understood otherwise. It has taught me the importance of patience and honesty, even when it is difficult. The Book of Mormon has been a rock for me to cling to through all the hard times of my life. the promise of being clean through repentance brings me hope and strength that one day i will be forgiven for my many sins, and also that my dad can exercise the atonement and be with me for eternity. I am happiest when i live the teachings of the gospel, and that happiness i can experience cannot be compared to anything else.

How I live my faith

I go home teaching every month to my assigned families. I try to get to know all the members of the ward and community and do my best to help whenever i see someone in need of it. I frequently invite others to meet with the missionaries or accept a Book of Mormon from me so that they too can come to a knowledge of the truth. I serve in the community and do my best to act as Christ would want me to act. I strive to keep the commandments, even when it seems like the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I have held positions of leadership in stake youth assignments and regional youth assignments. I participate when my ward hosts Sacrament Meeting for the local veterans home, whether it be blessing or passing the sacrament, participating in a musical number, or merely keeping a lonely veteran company throughout the meeting.
