Hi I'm Marie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in southern California. I go to Brigham Young University Idaho studying Early Childhood Special Education. There are few things better than boogie boarding, watermelon, and jogging! Summer time is my favorite because everyday is spent in the pool or at the beach. Most importantly, my nephew is the cutest kid in the whole wide world and nobody can tell me different.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. I find peace and happiness through living its teachings. I know that the president of the church is a living prophet. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ lives and that He suffered, died and was resurrected for all of us. I have felt His strength to help me overcome my weaknesses. I know He lives and that He leads and guides this church. This knowledge has come over time. It is not something that I came to know all at once. I have discovered the reality of these things through action and prayer. As I continue to exercise my faith, I am blessed with feelings from God that give me a sense of as-surety. Those feelings create in me a desire to change and become more like the Savior. As I do the best I can to live the teachings of Jesus Christ, I have feelings of peace and I know that I am on the right path to reach my full potential.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a full time missionary in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission for a year and a half. I try to show my gratitude for the knowledge I have been blessed with by sharing it with those around me.
