Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Utah. I attend Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I am the second oldest of four. I love my family and spending time with them. Some of the things that we like to do when we are together include traveling, playing board games, or watching home videos together. I love to learn. I currently attend Brigham Young University, and I am majoring in Finance. I am part of the BYU Honors Program and love the unique experiences the program offers me. I love my friends and spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the truthfulness contained in the church's message. I have come to find for myself that this church truly is the restored church of Jesus Christ. Being a member of the church has brought so much peace in my life. I know that it has been my foundation in the trying times in my life. I grew up in the church, so although I haven't actively searched out other religions, I have felt the strong promptings of the spirit that this is the true church leaving me without any motive to seek out any other religions. I have come to find out for myself through actively reading the Book of Mormon and praying that this is the true church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fulfilling the small and simple things that we are asked to do. I work hard to have a consistent habit of reading my scriptures and praying with my Heavenly Father. I attend the temple often where I can find a refuge from the world. I have served in different class callings as I was growing up in my teen years. I would help fulfill my calling by planning activities and caring for the different members in my class. Recently I was called to serve a mission in St. Petersburg Russia for eighteen months. I look forward to this calling with much anticipation, and I am excited to share the gospel with those around me.
