Hi I'm Don

I was born in Indiana till age of 6. Moved to Arizona, then California age 10. Lived and in business in Sacramento.

About Me

I am retired from a business career of over 43 years self-employed. I paint in acrylics, pastels, and oil. I do jewelry as a hobby business. My business was retail art supplies, picture framing, office supplies, and housewares. I am interested in travel and learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I like the values of the church and the fellowship found in being a member. I believe in the teachings of the church and follow them as best I can. Family values are very important to me and my family.

How I live my faith

I am active in my church, with callings in Elders President, Sunday School President, High Priest Councilor, and Stake Employment Specialist.

Are Mormons Christians?

Don
I always am amased at this question, especially as a convert. Yes we are very Christian in our beliefs and pratice Christian principals throughout our church. The name of the church is Jesus Christ and that should put that question to rest. Our song hyms are all filled with the name of Jesus Christ or Lord. Our prayers are begun with and ended with the name of Jesus Christ or Lord. Every Sunday we study the Bible or the Book of Morman which is another testimate of Jesus Christ life and beliefs. He is the head of our church and the center of our faith. To say we do not believe in Jesus Christ is only proof that the people saying that do not know anything about our church. Show more Show less
