Hi I'm Senaka

I am a student at college. I have received my mission call. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Arizona my whole life. I went to a community college away from home for a year and a half and worked in a salon as a hair stylist. When President Monson changed the age to serve a mission last fall, I decided that I would serve. I leave next week to serve in Australia as a full time missionary!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were married in the temple many years ago. They raised all 5 children in the church, teaching them the importance of keeping the commandments of God and recognizing the blessings it brings. I was baptized at 8 years of age. It was my decision to get baptized and to make those promises to the Lord to be an example of him. As I grew older, multiple principles of the gospel have increasingly became more relevant to me. I have learned that without Christ and his Atonement, we can not return to the presence of God. All of our sins can and will be forgiven if we take our humble hearts to the Lord. Because I am not perfect, I rely on the Lord for forgiveness, to help me be happy again. The gospel of Jesus Christ was restored onto this earth by Joseph Smith. Our faith and obedience to the previous and latter day prophets will bring us closer to our Heavenly Father and His son.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church, I have had many callings serving in young women classes, service leader, and teaching a primary children's class of 8 year olds. I faithfully attended early morning seminary throughout my high school years and have always enjoyed church and related activities. Preparing for a mission has also helped me live the gospel and gained a better understanding of the Savior.
