Hi I'm Courtney

I grew up in Alabama. I'm preparing to leave home for college in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am eighteen years old. I have lived in Alabama my whole life and I like the south. It's a nice place to live. I enjoy reading, four-wheeler riding, singing, playing the piano/guitar, and visiting with friends and family. I am preparing to go out to Idaho for college which I get more excited about every day! When I get to college, I really want to give it my all and learn all that I can. I may go on a mission after a few semesters which I am also preparing for and I am excited about.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've always attended church faithfully with my family. I feel the spirit when I'm at church and I believe in the words the prophet teaches us. I believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I've read it several times and I love it. It teaches me so much and I always feel good when reading it. I will continue to follow His gospel because I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I help out a lot with the young single adult activities in my stake. My visiting teacher and I try to get our visiting teaching done at the first of every month before we get caught up in all of our other activities. I enjoy doing family home evening and preparing talks when asked for church. I like going to church. It's peaceful and I feel comfortable, alive, and at home. Everyone is always smiling. Learning at church is always great. The leaders work very hard and I learn something new every week. I love it and I wouldn't ever change it!
