Hi I'm Jenessa

I grew up in Harrisville, UT. I am a ginger. I'm a gerontology student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children and the only ginger. I am currently finishing my undergraduate in psychology with a certificate in gerontology. I will be applying to graduate schools for a Masters of Human Development this January! I love to travel, read, write and eat snacks. I have wonderful friends and family who constantly lift me up and make me be a better person.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this Gospel brings pure joy into my life. As I try to live the teaching of the church each day I am filled with peace and recognize that the Lord has a plan for me. I know that the Savior has provided a way for me to return His presence. I have a testimony of the Atonement. Never in my life have I felt so clean, pure, and happy as I have when I recognize and use the Atonement in my daily life. I am a Mormon because I know my Heavenly Father loves me and I am his daughter. He loves me in spite of my faults and weaknesses. I know that He sees the woman I can become and provides me with inspired church leaders, friends and family that help me become my true potential. I am a Mormon because I have a knowledge of forever families. Nothing in this world feels me with such happiness as being with my family. I have a testimony that I will be with them throughout eternity. I am a Mormon because as I read the scriptures and pray and talk with my Father in Heaven I have the opportunity to have a spiritual experience every day. I love the comfort, peace and revelation I can receive as I keep close to the spirit. This truly is the Lord's church on this earth today. I am a Mormon because I can feel happy, peaceful and loved by my Savior and Heavenly Father not only in this life here on earth, but in the next as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving everyday to live a life like the Savior. I strive to try my best and be a little better everyday. I attend my church meetings and listen closely to the spirit each Sunday. I attend institute to meet friends and have a spiritual experience each class that helps me feel the love of my Savior. I try to be an example and share Christ's love through serving and loving those around me. I pray daily and have developed a loving and personal relationship with my Father in Heaven and brother Jesus Christ. As I read the scriptures, sing the hymns and listen to the spirit and live by faith each day I have peace, joy and comfort in my life.
