Hi I'm Crystal

I'm a college student who's crazy about writing and music. I'm a devoted skier. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in Communications Studies and minoring in Spanish. I love playing the piano and I am a piano teacher for children. For fun, I write, blog, and make jokes. Last summer I had the chance to study abroad in La Rioja, Spain. My love for the Spanish language and travelling has grown immensely. This fall my entire life plan was effected during General Conference when President Monson announced the change in the mission age requirement. Two weeks later, I had a mission call to Argentina Buenos Aires. I'm so excited to be able to improve my Spanish, learn about another culture and preach the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this church is true. I believe we are literally children of a loving Heavenly Father. He wants us to be happy and become like Him someday so He created a plan for us to learn and grow through our time on earth. He knew that none of us could ever be perfect and so He sent His Only Begotten Son to atone for our sins and allow us a chance to live eternally with Him and our families.

How I live my faith

My calling in my ward is being a 'Nursery Worker'. This means that I get the chance to spend two hours every week with two and three year olds while their parents serve in other callings. Every week I fall in love a little more with these kids who are becoming some of my best friends. I also get to participate in several Institute classes (LDS religion classes offered at my university) during the week.
