Hi I'm Myreel Pease

I served a mission in Costa Rica and love speaking spanish. My new favorite sport is spikeball and snowboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a regular college student who is usually busy with lots of homework, tests, and work. However I love finding time to be with friends! Here in Idaho there is lots of snow during the winter and I try taking advantage of it by snowboarding when I can. In Arizona, where I am from, we don't get that much snow, however in the summer boating and wakeboarding are a blast! I was homeschooled through all of grade school and most of highschool. While being homeschooled, I had the opportunity a few years ago to live in China with my Aunt and Uncle for three months. There I grew to love the food, the shopping centers, and the people. Someday I hope to visit another country to have that unique experience again!

Why I am a Mormon

A mormon is just a nick name that people have given us who belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This church is His church and throughout my life I have come to know that no other life style could make me happier than the lifestyle I have because of His church. I have come to know truth. This truth is that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and I have a Savior who atoned for my sins and the Holy Ghost is with me to help me have a strong relationship with my Savior and Father in Heaven while here on earth. Struggles and hard times are always a part of life, but Heavenly father, I know, is always there to comfort and strengthen us in times of need. He wants us to succeed. One of the most important things to me is my family. I love them more than words can describe. Because of the gospel that my parents raised my sibling and me with in our home, it has brought unity, peace, and happiness. My family is definately not perfect, but because Christ is the center of our home our relationship is more meaninful and special. My family are the people I don't ever want to lose and are the people I know I will never have to lose since after this life I know I can be with them again. The gospel has brought me a knowledge that i can have eternal happiness with my family and because of this truth, I know that my Heavenly Father loves me more than I could ever imagine!

How I live my faith

Living my faith does not only occur when I attend church on Sunday each week. I live my faith everyday by just being happy. God blesses my life everyday with help in school and with inspiring friends all around me and I recognize that He is a part of my life. I pray and talk with Him everyday of how grateful I am for the tender mercies He gives to me. I find those who need someone to talk to or who are struggling in life and need some encouraging and lifting. I also am grateful for opportunities I am given to help push someone in a wheel chair up the hill to their class or just being able to smile at someone walking past. And I know that when I am doing these things I am happy!
