Hi I'm Jared

I grew up in Idaho. I teach middle-school science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm in Idaho and currently live on the outskirts of a large city in Ohio. I teach 8th grade Science and enjoy working with the kids. I have an amazing wife and four very cute, very headstrong kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the truthfulness of Christ's Gospel is made manifest to me on a daily basis. This has been evident through the promptings of the holy Ghost, answered prayers, blessings, trials, and personal revelation. The gospel of Jesus Christ strengthens families and creates an atmosphere of happiness and joy. I am blessed to serve in God's Kingdom and am grateful for the blessings he has shared with me and my family.

How I live my faith

Working with middle school students, over the last seven years, has given me a glimps of the gradual breakdown of the family. I make it a point each day to be a positive example to my students. I remind my students that honesty, integrity, and hard work are some of the building blocks to be happy. In my family I strive to promote and live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I do this by including my children in regular prayer, scripture reading, family home evening, and using the priesthood to bless others.
