Hi I'm Colin

I am an officer in the Air Force. I love to dance. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a jack of all trades. So many things capture my interest. I love my country and serve her in the Air Force. I study the world's music and dance. I dabble in the guitar, cooking, and motorcycles. I am an avid Star Wars fan. And the best part is that my faith complements all of this. I forget the lyrics to all the songs I sing. I would die to keep my country free. I love my wife. I love my life. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I will forever be grateful to my parents for teaching me correct principles and to gain my own testimony. They've always encouraged me to listen to the Spirit and follow its promptings. I have learned that when I do the Lord will make me strong when I am weak, brave when a coward, and capable to walk down the lonely road. I believe in God. I believe that He has all power, both in heaven and in earth. I believe that He loves me. And I love Him.

How I live my faith

I am fascinated by technology. My inner geek goes nuts over things like stealth airplanes, superconductors, and ion propulsion. I love that the Church takes advantage of the best technology out there. When the prophets speak, I can watch, listen, and receive revelation in real time and in high definition! I can read my scriptures and write in my study journal using any computer or smartphone. It is awesome! However, I am grateful that the Lord and His Church make it clear that some things must be done the good ol' fashioned way. Like visiting the sick and the afflicted, attending the temple to receive saving ordinances for our kindred dead, and sharing testimony with friends. The Lord would not only have us come unto Him, but He would have us bring others with us. This, too, is awesome.
