Hi I'm Lele Willis

I grew up in the South and love Alabama football. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three awesome brothers and two amazing sisters and my parents are the best ever. I am a college student at Brigham Young University. I'm majoring in International Relations and minoring in Arabic. I hope to work with refugees in the Middle East after my graduation.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the restored gospel on the earth today. I know my Father in Heaven loves me and that I am His child. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, took upon the sins of the world in the Garden of Gethsemene so that we all can live with our Father again in Heaven. I know that if we accept our Savior and placing our faith in Him and asking for repentence, we can live again with our Father. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church and try to live our Savior's teachings. At church I go to Sunday School and other church meetings to help me learn more about my Savior and Father. I help plan activities such as Christmas parties where we all get together and know each other better. I also visit some of the women in my ward to see how they are doing. I try and follow Christ's teachings as I go to classes, opeing doors for people, smiling and being kind to others.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Lele Willis
No, we are not required to serve missions. Many young men age 18-25 serve missions for about 24 months. Young women can go starting at age 19 and serve for 18 months. We serve missions because we know the gospel is true and we want to share it's blessings with others. Show more Show less
