Hi I'm Brittany

I'm a college student with an active imagination and awesome crochet skills. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in college, currently trying to pursue a field that allows me to fulfill my dream of writing. One day, I hope to become a screenwriter. I have an active imagination, nourished by my love of reading and my passion for writing. On the side, I've started a business crocheting dolls. It hasn't made any money, but it's a lot of fun. I love to play the piano in my free time; music means a lot to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe this gospel is a haven for the imperfect, the broken. What amazes me is the amount of love my Heavenly Father has for me. I have plenty of imperfections and many trials, including depression. I have often questioned my own worth and purpose. But God loves entirely. He will love you whether or not you've always done right. The gospel is full of second chances, no matter how far you feel you've gone off the right path, there is always a way back and God will love and guide you every step of the way. It's comforting to know that there is a divine being who knows me personally, wants me to succeed, and is willing to help me do it.

How I live my faith

I try to lift others. I'm not saying I'm perfect, I'm not even saying I'm good at it, but one of the most fulfilling things I've done is try to make people, be it friends or complete strangers, feel of worth. I believe that everyone is a child of God, which means they deserve to be treated with love and respect. I refrain from gossip. I'll do little things, hold the door open, thank people, smile, in essence I try my best to give everyone common courtesy. I work to get involved in service, even if it's outside of my comfort zone.
