Hi I'm Justine

I grew up on a farm. I like to sing, dance and draw. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a passion for music. I love to sing, and my mom taught me how to play the piano starting at age 5. I am constantly singing and always have a song in my head. I also recently discovered that I have a talent for drawing. I am currently a college student planning to major in technical theatre. I also enjoy performing onstage. I participated in every show possible during my high school career, including having a couple of lead roles. Theatre has been my life for the last 4 years, and I plan on continuing that way. I grew up on a farm and I love being outside riding bikes and playing Frisbee, and I also enjoy playing volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of this church because of the joy, peace and hope it brings to my life. I have so much hope in my future because I know the Lord is in control and that everything will be alright in the end, no matter how difficult things might seem now. Staying close to the church has helped me find peace even during my darkest times. I have a powerful testimony of prayer: that it is real and that it works. I know that God answers even the smallest and simplest prayers. I love the Book of Mormon and the Bible and the inspiration and insight they have given to my life. I know that the Atonement is real and that if we repent, we can be cleansed and forgiven of sins. I know that Christ died for us and then rose again so that we can too. I know that God lives and that He cares about us individually, and that the Holy Spirit can guide us, warn us, and make us feel peace. I know God will never put us through something that we cannot handle, and that trials are there to make us stonger. I am thankful for trials because I have learned so many things through trials that I never could have learned in any other way. I love this church and the principles that it teaches me, and I know that if I live these things, I can return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

As a youth, I was the president over my Young Women classes. I helped come up with and plan activites for us to do together. I don't have any callings here at college yet, but I was given a visiting teaching assignment, which is basically where my companion and I go a visit a couple of the other girls in the church every month and make sure everything is going well and share a spiritual message with them.
