Hi I'm Brandy

I grew up in the military. I'm a crazy musician. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love my family and I try to spend as much time with them as I can. My younger sisters both have autism, and even though taking care of them can be a struggle, I love them with all of my heart. I started learning how to play the violin when I was eight, and then picked up the piano, flute, percussion, and I am currently a vocal performance major. Opera is my true love, and I can't live a day without singing!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me hope. I know that after I pass away, I can see my family again. When I was younger I had problems with depression. I would look at myself in the mirror and not be proud of who I was or what I had done. I didn't know what true happiness was. But I know now that because of the Atonement, I can live each day as clean and spiritually spotless as I was when I was born. Someday after I die I will meet my maker and say that I did the best I could to love and serve others, and He will tell me that because of my Savior, my best will be good enough. If I know anything, I know that God loves me. He loves all of us. I can say that I am truly happy.

How I live my faith

Because of my musical background, I play the accompaniment for hymns and provide musical numbers in my church meetings. I love working with the youth in my community, and I try to perform for the elderly as often as I can.

What is faith?

Brandy
Being faithful means that you are harnessing hope. You can have faith in just about anything, and usually having faith means that you are hoping for something good to happen. In a religious sense, I have faith that we can be with God and our families again. I hope for that thing, and I choose to believe that it can happen. Show more Show less
