Hi I'm Chad

Grateful to parents who taught me to choose for myself. I prayed and I know this for my self, this is Christ's church.

About Me

I loved to swim and attempt to swim 3 times a week at the local pool. After teaching middle school for that past 8 years I am now working at a community college. I help high school students from low income homes to focus and prepare for college.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both converted to the Mormon faith before I was born. They raised 7 children to develop their own faith. When I was 12 I told my father that I wasn't going to church anymore. An inspired father replied, "Its not my church. Go pray and tell God that you are not going to church." I began my prayer to tell my Heavenly Father that I wasn't going to church anymore. I couldn't do it. I knew right from wrong. I knew I belonged at church on Sundays. I knew the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to be God's true church. I chose to attend church. In fact, that Sunday I was the first in the car ready to go. More than 20 years later, I am raising a family of my own. Teaching them to develop their own faith. I understand how difficult it was for my own father to let me choose. I am sure he was praying for me, as I now pray for my own children.

How I live my faith

In the 14 year I have been married. My wife and pray to know God's will for our family. This has taken us from Michigan to Northern Virginia, Idaho and now Missouri. In each place my family has grown closer together. Currently I work with the Boy Scout, Cub Scouts, and I am help start a Venture Crew. I also help the Bishop with maintaining his schedule.
