Hi I'm Eric

I'm a student. I'm a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm the oldest of four boys, and I have seven step-siblings! I love life, and being outside. Before my mission, I was really into running and cycling. I love people, and really enjoy making friends. I try my best to find the good in every situation, and it helps me out a lot.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but just like everyone else in the world, I have had many struggles. A lot of these have been with my family. After divorce tore my family apart, I was left vulnerable and doubtful. It was at that point in my life that I decided to test my faith in my Savior and really decide if I knew the Church and the Book of Mormon were true. As I prayed, read the scriptures, and put trust in my Heavenly Father I was able to know for myself what was true. I know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that through His power Joseph Smith was called as a Prophet and translated The Book of Mormon. I know that God still reveals His will today through a modern prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I feel so blessed to be part of such a beautiful and life-changing work, and I know that it will bless whoever lives it.

How I live my faith

I try my best to just live and do what I know is right. As I do this, I am able to feel confident in myself and my faith. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings light and peace to my life, and I want everyone to have that same experience.
