Hi I'm Conor

I'm a gamer, an artist, a brother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live with my dad, my two brothers and my sister. I lived in Utah for six years before moving to Colorado. I've been working in a grocery store for the last two years; since graduating high school. One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is draw. I was in 7th grade when I realized I had little bit of artistic talent, and since then I've worked hard and improved a lot. It's a good way to relieve stress just sitting and drawing. As I went into high school my dad checked out a book about drawing in the style of Japanese comics, and I've been hooked on that art style ever since. I also like surrealism, black and white pencil drawings, and photography. I've been around video games since my earliest days, and have always loved to play. I love anything with great story, art, or music. I like games that are more fun and off the beaten path than hardcore. Reading is another favorite activity of mine. I mainly read sci-fi and fantasy, but a good book is a good book. I recently started reading classic novels. I love to write, too, even though I'm not very good at it. The stars fascinate me. Any night I might look up and see what constellations I can find amidst the sparkling lights. I have a tendency to use stars in my art a lot, and a star is usually a common pattern I often tap idly with fingers or whatever's between my fingers.

Why I am a Mormon

I enjoy the knowledge that we are children of God. I enjoy knowing that I can receive revelation from god specific to my needs. I know that God lives and answers my prayers.

How I live my faith

I like to help serve my community by helping with the local boy scout troop.I also help move families in and out of our county, run food drives, and with anything I know I can help with. I am currently serving in the California Santa Rosa mission, teaching others what principles of the gospel must be lived before entering our faith. I do my best to be kind to others, and help them any chance I can.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

For me I think about the complexity of living things as well as the position of the Earth as evidence of God´s existence. If the Earth were closer to the sun, it would be too hot to sustain life, if it were farther away the face of the Earth would be too cold for anything to live here. The rotation speed and magnetic field which surround the planet are also essential for sustaining life. The chances of life occurring naturally are nearly impossible, giving evidence to a Creator. In terms of the human body, all the parts of a normal body: heart, lungs eyes, ears, liver, kidneys, are perfectly placed, and outlast any man-made equivalents. The processes even within each tiny cell are so ordered and perfectly syncronous that we realize that even part of a functioning body is a miracle unto itself. Show more Show less
