Hi I'm Tyler

I was born in Missouri and moved to California when I was seven. I am a college football player. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I am #3 of 4 kids in my family. I grew up playing soccer all my life and when I got to high school I started playing football. I playing football all four years as a kicker and now I am playing at one of the top rank junior colleges in the nation(Snow). I love to watch movies and I enjoy any outdoor activity known to man. I love camping, hiking, and also backpacking. I have hiking the Grand Canyon twice, and other mountain ranges in southern California. I love playing volleyball, I play every tuesday night with a bunch of friends. I just like having a good time but there has to be some compatition involved also. If i set aside my competative side for alittle while I like to cook and throw Ceramics on the wheel. I grew up on rap music when I was in high school and as I have aged I enjoy listening to country music. School wise my brain is wired for math, therefore I am studing to become an engineer. I will be serving a mission for two years, in the Dallas, Texas Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so that is part of the reason I am a Mormon. But, this being said everyone that grows up in the church has to be converted for there own sake or eventualy they will fall away from the church. A testimony, what is that. A testimony is a decleration of what someone believes in. Most all testimonies are gained from personal expirences. This is why even those that are raised in the church have to be converted themselves. I myself have recieved an answer and bare my testimony that this church is true and if you(the reader) would like to know how to come to the same knowledge there are different things you can do. one, talk to the missionaries in your area. Two talk to anyone from the church and express your desires. Lastly, read the Book of Mormon and do as moroni says in chapter 10 verses 3-5. That is ask God.

How I live my faith

I love having fun, so i like to live my religion while having lots of fun. Now when I say fun i dont mean partying and drinking and doing durgs because one can have lots of fun not doing any of that. I hear so many times that it takes money to have fun and this frustrates me alot because it is not true. For example, a bunch of friends from church will get together every tuesday night and will play volleyball. And most of us are in no ways good at playing but we all still have fun. Every monday night we will have what is call Family Home Evening. this is where you gather together and share a spiritual thought whether it is from scripture or personal expirence and then after we just hang out and have fun playing games. We will often plan movie nights or bonfires anything to just give a group to hang out.
