Hi I'm Jordan

I was born in Indiana. I am currently a student attending BYU-Idaho.

About Me

I'm currently studying exercise physiology at BYU-Idaho. I enjoy horseback riding, singing and music, playing soccer, swimming, and almost any outdoor activity that you can think of. I am the fourth of five children in my family. I love my family, and I look forward to being a mom one day.

Why I am a Mormon

Everyone of us has times where we need to know that it will get better. That is precisely what the gospel of Jesus Christ offers me, especially in times of need. I'm a Mormon because I believe in the "good news" our church brings! I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for me, just as He does for you. There is a purpose for each of us in this life, and God is there for us as we strive to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I am able to live my faith and be an example to others by serving everyone around me. I have been able to help organize activities for both the youth and the adult sisters. In the church, we are given opportunities to serve one another on a daily basis, and through that we show our love for the Lord.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Jordan
As a member of the Church, we are expected to pay 10 percent of our income to help build more church buildings, temples, and move the work along. Tithing is not so much a matter of dollars as it is a sign of our faith. As we faithfully pay our tithing, the blessings of the Lord will be given to us in abundance. Show more Show less
