Hi I'm Amber Cook

I'm a Dairy-Farmer's Daughter. I'm an English Teaching Major. I'm a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college. My major is English Teaching. One day, I hope to become a high school English teacher. I love reading books and I sometimes even write poems. I love seeing the words of a story come to life and how they can take you to far off places. I grew up on a dairy farm. Every morning and night I would feed my baby calves. I usually had thirty little calves that I would have to feed. I loved being on the farm and being outdoors but more importantly, I love to laugh. =D I recently received my mission call to the Mississippi Jackson Mission. I know the church is true and am excited to serve the Lord

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because this gospel makes me happy. I love learning about the truths and principles and sharing them with others. I know that when I want to share things they are true. My family is very important to me. The Gospel teaches that I can be with my family forever and that makes me happy! I know that Christ is the Savior of the world. He loves me and He loves you. He wants us to be happy, and living the way He asks me to is truly the only way to be happy forever! I love to laugh...and I know He loves me too. I know the Atonement is a real power on the earth today and there is nothing that the Lord cannot accomplish!

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church is very important to me. For me, the church isn't just something that I do on Sunday, rather, it is my life. This isn't a Sunday religion. Heavenly Father wants our all of our hearts and I have learned that when the church and my faith are the first things I think about, I am able to give Him my heart. I love living every day like the Savior was walking beside me and I know that my faith isn't just a part of my life; my faith is my whole life. Every day I spend time reading my scriptures, praying to my Heavenly Father, looking for opportunities to serve Him, and going about doing good, I am living my faith. This isn't just another denomination, this is a way of life.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Amber Cook
Heavenly Father want us to be happy. He loves us so much that he was willing to let His perfect Son, Jesus Christ, die for our sins, sorrows, pains, and shortcomings. Christ overcame death so that we can return to Heavenly Father. It is a gift. When we live the way we should His gift will truly make us happy when we return to our Loving Heavenly Father.
