Hi I'm Megan Clove

I grew up in Southern Utah. I am working towards my goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying to become an elementary school teacher. I really love working with children and being a force for good in their lives. There is so much good in the world and so much knowledge that we should all be striving to obtain.I love helping children develop an excitement and enthusiasm for learning that will help them their entire lives. I love my family and spending time with them, reading, sports, and meeting new people and seeing new things and places. I also love the gospel because it brings so much meaning and purpose to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings purpose, direction, and peace to me everyday. It is an easy decision for me to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have lived the principles and teachings of the gospel and put them to the test in my own life. I know that when I follow those principles and commandments as good as I can, the joy that accompanies my righteous living is immeasurable. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father that has a plan for each one of our lives and is waiting for us to do our part so He can bless us. I know that because our Heavenly Father loves us so much, He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to show us the way to live and to pay the price for our sins. Jesus Christ suffered beyond anything we are able to comprehend so that we could repent of our sins and try harder to become more like Him. He is the only way we can gain eternal life and happiness forever with our families. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His church upon the earth today. It has the same organization that existed when Christ Himself was upon the earth and that is only possible because the authority and the keys were restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and we are led today by a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I am so grateful to be a Mormon, and I will continue to be forever because it brings lasting peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

Each week in our church services on Sunday, I have the opportunity to play the organ and piano. I love being able to help bring the power of music into our time of worship each Sunday. I am a visiting teacher, which is such a blessing. Being able to get to know different women in the ward by keeping in touch with them throughout the month and visiting with them strengthens me and gives me opportunities to serve them and build friendships. Each day I try my best to live my faith by living with my eyes wide open to the needs of people around me. There are so many opportunities-big and small- to do good things and reach out to help others.
