Hi I'm Makayla Sullivan

I am a daughter and a friend. I am a Mormon. :)

About Me

Right now i am a senior in high school. I love playing the violin. But i also enjoy playing sports. My favorite has to be soccer, but i love football, volleyball, badmitton, tennis, and probably more (i just cant think of anymore). I mostly love to read. I read mostly teen books like Fantasy, with a little romance thrown in there.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i have a strong testimony that this church is true. I know that Our Savior, Jesus Christ, came down to this earth to give people the commandments and teach us the way we should live. He took all of our sins on him in the Garden of Gethsemane, he bled from every pore just so we didnt have to go through our sins alone. He died for us, so we can be resurrected when the time comes. So we can live again with our Heavenly Father and make it home again. I know that we were put on this earth to get stronger and the only way we get stronger is through trials. But Heavenly Father doesnt expect us to go through them alone, He is there for us, and so is Jesus Christ. We can always pray for help whenever we are down. He will carry us through that trial, but we still have free agency, so he wont take away our burden but he will help us through it. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, i know that we can read the scriptures to find help. The scriptures have all the answers. They help us to know more about our gospel and helps us to understand things better. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and he is willing to forgive all of our sins if we repent. He wants us all to return to the Kingdom of Heaven. He wants us all to succeed. He gave his only begotten son for us. Jesus gave us the Atonement. We need to know that we are sons and daughters of God. I say these things in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

How i live my faith is getting up every morning at 4:30 for early morning seminary. I also served many callings for my Young womens program. i have helped be part of planning activitys and just caring for girls 12-13 yr olds, 14-15 yr olds and now im the president of my class of 16-18 year olds. Its always an amazing feeling to help girls my own age, even from just planning fun activities or making sure they know they are loved.
