Hi I'm Raquel

I'm a California girl. I love nature. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am Raquel. I attend college at Brigham Young University-Idaho, but as of right now I am a full time missionary for the church. I am serving in the Canada Toronto Mission in the Spanish language. My all time favorite thing is to have fun with everyone and share laughs. The beach and being outside is one of the best things on this earth. One of my favorite things to do is going on hikes because then I get to enjoy being in the nature that God has created for us. I also love all the beautiful animals that are here on this earth. I think that Disney is amazing! I personally believe that Disneyland is the second happiest place on Earth, because the temple is the first. Lastly, I wouldn't be who I am without my family. My parents are always supportive in the decisions I make and super loving. My siblings are my best friends and the fact I am an aunt makes my life so meaningful.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons, the knowledge, the service, the teachings, the principles, the Book of Mormon, the Temple, the Prophet, the guidance, but one that I have a deep testimony about is the Jesus Christ's Atonement. I know that Christ really came to this Earth and died for us. He is our redeemer. He took all the sins of every person that has ever lived, is living, and will live. And because of that we all have the to power to repent. I am so thankful for the Atonement that Jesus went through, just so we could be able to go back and live with him and our Heavenly Father someday. This just proves to me that Heavenly Father loves us so very much, because he has given us that opportunity. I love being a Mormon because this is who I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my everyday regular life. In the way I dress I am showing my obedience to The Lord by making sure I am modest in my apparel. Also in what I say by trying to keep my language as clean as possible and respectful. I read from the Book of Mormon everyday and try to live by the teachings that the prophets speak about in the book. I am always willing to talk to anyone about my faith and clarify any questions that someone might have.
